The Design Process

Each Bartholomew guitar is made to order and the process of designing your guitar is a collaborative one. From initial contact, you will be invited and encouraged to discuss the subtle differences offered by tonewood choice, scale length, body shape and more. These discussions aim to help you make educated decisions while allowing me gain a better understanding of your playing style and offer the best options to create a guitar tailored to you.

The Build Process

With your specification confirmed, your guitar will then be hand crafted over a period of around 4 to 5 months, during which I will spend between 250 and 300 hours working on your instrument. During this period you will be kept up to date with frequent photos showing the process of your guitar coming to life.

Ordering Your Bartholomew Guitar

The base price for all models in currently $10,000.

A $1000 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your position in the build schedule at the current price. 50% of the remaining balance will be required when your build commences with the final payment required upon completion and before delivery.
